Born and raised in Saskatchewan,
I pursued studies in Radio and Television production
in Calgary before moving to Vancouver in 1972 where I joined an innovative creative team as visual director, developing highly emotive multi-media
marketing / communication pieces for
corporations and international events
such as EXPO 86 and the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.
Countless images later,
I found myself working up north throughout the winter months,
where change was as good as a rest.
This experience became a creative catalyst,
rekindling and redefining my passion for photography.
Experimenting, it evolved into highly graphic imagery,
offering fresh and unique perspectives of subject matter
we tend to take for granted.
